Caddo Parish Sheriff Office Warns Public About Escaped Inmate

According to a press release from the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Department, deputies are actively searching for 24-year-old Tre'veon Jackson, a Caddo inmate who escaped from a deputy's custody while being transported from Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport.

You might recall Jackson from the vicious Shreveport shooting in the middle of the day on August, 2021, in the 600 block of West 64th Street that resulted in the death of 24-year-old Javoris Debouse and the injuries of another adult male and a juvenile and the arrest of Jackson along with three others.

CPSO says that investigators involved with this escape stated that just after 10:00 pm on Monday, September 14, Jackson took off on foot as the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office deputy was preparing to place him in a transport van for his return to the Caddo Correctional Center.

The deputy immediately pursued Jackson on foot, but Jackson was able to evade capture.

Multiple law enforcement agencies are involved in the search, including the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office, Shreveport Police Department, LSU Medical Center Police, and the DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office Air Patrol.

Jackson was last seen wearing a white shirt, green shorts, and white shoes, with tight braids in his hair. He should be considered armed and dangerous due to serious charges against him. The public is advised not to approach or attempt to apprehend him. If anyone sees Jackson, they should immediately call 911 and provide his location, direction of travel, and any other relevant information to law enforcement.
