Hot Rods and Vintage Cars Dealer to Open in Downtown Shreveport
Have you been looking for a '66 Corvette, '65 Chevy C10 Truck, or even maybe even a '29 Ford Model A? Well, soon, you won't have to look much further than downtown Shreveport.

Street Dream Texas, a classic and muscle car dealer based in Fredricksburg, is planning to open a new location in downtown Shreveport at 1229 Texas Avenue. The business has been buying and selling classic and muscle cars successfully for 24 years. They are planning to expand to Shreveport in a few months, opening in the former Ivan Smith building downtown across from the Shreveport Police Department, adjacent to the new SporTran City terminal.
The building is currently being renovated to get ready for a projected mid to late summer opening. Street Dreams Louisiana owner/curator Dillon Breithaupt is currently overseeing his AC crew getting the new HVAC system ready. But vehicles can already be seen inside the building.
Amidst the construction is a vintage Ford F150, a Cadillac convertible and a candy apple red, 1960's Chevy Camaro convertible. Soon, there will also be a 1940's Indian Chief motorcycle, and a classic Oliver Tractor that Breithaupt exhibited at the car show recently in the Shreveport Convention Center, which is already sold.
In order to get the word out, Breithaupt has had several vehicles in the car show at Shreve Station a couple weeks ago. But word travels fast when something like this hits town. He also has plans for an area that features antiques, memorabilia, and cool yard art.
