Hosston’s First Annual Salute to Heroes Festival is This Saturday

Hosston's first annual Salute to Heroes Festival will be this Saturday, June 16th. The event will take place at Hosston Alternative School starting at 8 am and go on till 6 pm with a Community Church Service at 5 pm.

A bike ride will kick off the festival to "Retrieve The Colors". There will also be biker games and a bike show. You can expect live entertainment with 8-Track along with live demonstrations from K9, Life Air, and more. Vendors will also be present at the Festival.

This is definitely a family friendly event. Kid's activities include: train, blow-ups, and face painting.

This free event is to honor all veterans, active duty, law enforcement, fire and EMS. The Facebook event page mentions there will be a "memorial tribute to honor all POW, MIAS, and deceased Veterans of the Military, Law Enforcement, Fire and EMS"
