Earlier this year the City Of Shreveport dropped a controversial law from the books. There was lot of talk in Shreveport about the "saggy pants" law the city has. The law was eventually removed by the Shreveport City Council and Shreveport Mayor Adrian Perkins.

During the recent city-wide debate on the subject, many have referred to the "saggy pants" law as "silly" or "ridiculous". While at the same time people who have spoken out in favor of the law have called the thought of dropping the law as "silly" or "ridiculous".

No matter which side you fall on the "saggy pants" law, you'll probably have an opinion on some of these laws:

5. - YOU CAN'T BE SMELLY

Sec. 58-2. - Emission of odor nuisances or odorous air contaminants.

Penalty: $500 fine

4. - YOU CAN'T SELL GLUE TO MINORS

Sec. 50-120. - Model glue, use of; unlawful sales to minors; penalties.

Penalty: Up to $100 fine and 60 days in jail

3. - YOU CAN'T WALK ON THE ROAD NEXT TO A SIDEWALK

Sec. 90-462. - Walking on or along roadways.

Penalty: Not listed
2. - YOU CAN'T SPIT IN PUBLIC
Penalty: $50 fine
1. - YOU CAN'T SAY "ANNOYING WORDS" 
Penalty: Up to a $1,000 fine and 60 days in jail
