On May 26th, Ofc. Clemmens of the Haughton Police Department made a traffic stop for numerous traffic violations.

Upon identifying the driver, the suspect was found to have two outstanding felony warrants. After detaining the suspect officers began a search of the vehicle.

After a thorough search of the vehicle, officers located approximately 6.7 pounds of suspected methamphetamine, some suspected marijuana and a large sum of cash.

In the picture you can see the arresting officers and a K-9 officer, as well as the super-size drug haul that they found on the suspect.

This situation is an ongoing investigation. This article will be updated as more information is released.
