Greenwood Repo Man and Trucker Involved in Wild Shootout
A pretty wild scene at a storage facility in Greenwood. Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office was called to the scene of the storage facility after a shootout between a repo man and truck driver.
The repo man had shown up to the storage facility to repossess two big-rigs, when he was approached by the person in possession of the truck. After a heated exchange between the two, shots were fired and the trucker was injured. The trucker then fled on foot and hid in a unit at the Greenwood Elderly Apartments near by.
The trucker then returned to the storage facility and jumped in a truck that was towing a large camper. Police arrived on the scene, and almost immediately had to exchange gunfire with the truck driver. While trying to escape the gunfire the truck driver took off, and only moments later crashed in to a completely unrelated big-rig, flipping his truck and camper on it's side.
The repo man was taken in for questioning, and the truck driver was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injury. The trucker was suffering from a head wound after a bullet from the gunfight grazed him.
No official charges have been announced to the public, and this incident is still under investigation. This story will be updated as more information is forthcoming.
