If you're looking to get the comic book geek on your Christmas list the perfect gift this year, you've got a big opportunity coming up this weekend. The Dallas Comic Show is holding their "Day of Cheer" event on Saturday, December 18th at the Music City Mall in Lewisville, Tx.

Dallas Comic Show is one of the premiere comic con style events in the Dallas area. In fact, earlier this year they were named as the "Best Convention" by Dallas Observer in their "Best of Dallas" ratings.

This Saturday will actually be their third show of 2021, which is a great return off the pandemic shutdown of shows. This one will be a packed one-day show, with plenty of autograph opportunities, custom artwork, as well as tons of geeky shopping.

The Dallas Comic Show Day of Cheer will be "headlined" by Dallas Cowboys Hall of Famer Mel Renfro and the creator of Warrior Nun Ben Dunn. The show will also have the voice of Lucy Van Pelt in the Charlie Brown specials (1974-75, 1977) Melanie Kohn, Bryan Massey and Stephanie Nadolny from the Dragonball universe, and comic artists Kez Wilson and Ariel Diaz. There will be many other guests as well.

There will also be a "curated" vendor hall, with a ton of vendors who will have all of the geek gifts you need this holiday season. From comic books to action figures, you will find the perfect gift for the geek on your list.

All of this, and it's FREE. Tickets for this incredible show are free, and so is the parking.

You can find all of the details you need on the Dallas Comic Show Day of Cheer, including guests and location information, right here.

Here Is The First Comic Book Appearance For These MCU Heroes

Comic Book Movie Stars Who Have Worked In Shreveport

We utilized IMDB's filming location database to help put this together. However there is one movie listed there that we didn't include. IMDB lists X-Men Origins: Wolverine on their Shreveport list, but we struggled to find citing for this. So we just left it off. Some of these stars weren't in comic book "movies" specifically.

But we counted the Netflix Marvel shows, and MCU Disney+ shows as well.

We also added in an odd option...pro wrestlers. Pro wrestling has been a big deal in the Shreveport area for a long time, so we're going to include the wrestlers who've worked in the Shreveport area, and went on to comic book movie fame.
