Fête du Veau 2024: A Culinary Block Party to Remember
Shreveport foodies eagerly arrived for the restaurant’s 5th-anniversary bash, Fête du Veau 2024. Chef Felan and his team prepared a feast unlike anything else in Shreveport, boasting an unmatched community vibe.
The menu was an incredible culinary creation: a spectacle of whole-animal cooking featuring a roasted pig, alligator, and a cow’s head that yielded, without exaggeration, the best barbacoa I have ever tasted. The effort and passion poured into every plate were palpable.

The event included a decadent buffet-style feast, complemented by passed hors d'oeuvres and desserts. Guests enjoyed specialty cocktails crafted by some of Shreveport's most talented bartenders, alongside a selection of over 35 curated wines from around the world.
We are grateful to the Felan crew for sharing their talents and creating this wonderful, community-focused block party. They plan to make the next celebration even more epic.
