The Billboard Music Awards happened over the weekend and it might as well have been a tribute to Taylor Swift! Taylor, as you've probably heard, will be kicking off her 1989 World Tour here this Wednesday night! Florida Georgia Line was named Billboard’s Top Country Artist of 2015. Just as I predicted, Pitch Perfect 2 dominated the box office this weekend to the tune of $70.3 million which is $5 million more than the original made than, get this, it’s entire US theatrical run! Mad Max: Fury Road came in second at $44.4 million with both of them solidly moving The Avengers: Age of Ultron out of the top spot.

When it’s not right, it’s not right. Ask Kip Moore. He finished his second album a year ago, but it wasn’t right, so he trashed it and started over. His new efforts will be released later this year… Hopefully Kip finds them more appealing!
