The eighteen wheelers collided just off I-20 East at the entrance ramps to I-220 East and 3132 East (Terry Bradshaw Passway) before 9:00 pm on Wednesday and at this writing at 4:20 am on Thursday, March 13, traffic is still completed halted at the ramps.

Making a quick drive by, it appeared that one of the trucks has been essentially cleared from the area, but the other still has a long way to go as police, utilities and DOTD are on the scene assessing the massive amount of damage to the sign structure and much more.

Officials still don't have an estimate as to when this accident will be completely cleared from the roadway and all other associated hazards removed from the area, so motorists will need to find an alternative detour and should expect possible lengthy delays.

Though it would appear that I-20 east traffic is unaffected at this point, as crews continue the cleanup, the far right (outside) lane(s) in this area could be closed to accommodate the removal.
