First Baptist Haughton Welcomes All For Easter Sunrise Service
Hard to believe it's already Good Friday. That means Easter is just three days away.
It's this Sunday, April 9 and part of my family's Easter tradition for twenty five years now, is to enjoy the Easter Sunrise Service each year at Hill Crest Memorial on Highway 80 in Haughton.
I'd love it if you and your family would join us!
If you have never attended, trust me, it will be one of the most inspiring mornings of your life as First Baptist Haughton welcomes everyone to rejoice in the fact that the tomb is empty! Jesus has risen!
There is nothing so majestic as the sun rises over the open amphitheater at Hill Crest and dawn begins to make its presence known, with wood ducks flying by and squirrels scampering around.
Following tomorrow, Saturday, April 8th's Community Wide Egg Hunt, put on by First Baptist Haughton from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Haughton High School, the church will usher in the Easter sunrise with inspiration and the joy of salvation.
Pastor of First Baptist Haughton, Dr. Gevan Spinney will deliver the message and the First Baptist Haughton praise team will lead us in music.
Services are scheduled to begin at 6:30 a.m. but plan to get there by 6:00 am to allow yourself time for parking and to grab a doughnut and cup of complimentary coffee.
