There's been a few changes at the Superdome in New Orleans recently.  New sponsors Caesar's Entertainment have taken the reins from Mercedes-Benz, and already begun a massive renovation.  These changes are reported to be field-level suites that seat 21-24 people, and a club in the north end zone for the fans that drop some major coin on one of those aforementioned suites.

Some Changes are OK, but Louisiana Will Never Stop Loving Drew Brees

All of that is cool, but some things will never change.  Things like how much we love former Quarterback-turned-NFL commentator Drew Brees.  Sure, this guy's lost a few games - but he's won enough big games (including 2010's Super Bowl XLIV) to cement his place in every Saints fan's heart.  On top of that, Drew and his wife Brittany have invested so much time and money in to the state of Louisiana in the form of donations and businesses like Walk On's and Surge Entertainment - they clearly have a love for this state.

Drew Brees Will Be On The Field At The Superdome This Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving, Breesus will once again grace the field in New Orleans to receive some of that love back.  According to FOX8LIVE, Brees will be at the newly-renamed Caesar's Superdome this Thanksgiving broadcasting the Saints/Buffalo Bills game with Mike Tirico for NBC.  During halftime, the plan is to bring the only man to ever lead the Saints to a Super Bowl (let alone win it) to the field once again.  The New Orleans' Saints organization has planned this tribute as a way to say thank you to Drew.

I Think We Can Do Better Than a "Thank You" for Drew Brees

I know that Brees' retirement is a fairly recent thing (he made the announcement back in March of this year), but we need to at least be talking about the Saints Hall of Fame and/or Ring of Honor for this man - right?  At the very least, it will be nice to see him recognized in front of a proper crowd on Thanksgiving (November 25th), when expected attendance is around 70,000.  When Brees walked of the field as a professional quarterback for the NFL after his last game on January 17th, the stands were virtually empty due to COVID-19 restrictions.
