Some spots are selling boiled crawfish for under $3 a pound. But most of the big spots around town have the price close to $4 a pound. But they often have specials on 4 or 5 pounds. You are best to check with your favorite spot.

Did you miss the Mudbug Madness Festival this year? They had plenty of great crawfish from boiled, to etouffee and everything in between. The music and all of the special entertainment was spectacular for the 39th year of the festival.

But if you are looking for crawfish now, you have about a month left for the season. We did find a couple of spots already closing up shop for the season. But this is also the best time to find the best prices and the largest crawfish.

Prices continue to fall for great boiled crawfish and more folks are flocking to these spots to pick up some of the tasty specialties.
