Crawfish Prices in Shreveport Are Higher Than Normal for March
If you are feeling like grabbing some crawfish this weekend, you will be able to find them. But the prices have not fallen much.
Supplies are ok as we move into spring, but normally the prices start dipping in March. So far this year, that has not happened.
Are the Crawfish Prices Falling Yet?
There is some bad news. The prices are not really falling much. We did find a few spots selling boiled crawfish for under $6 a pound. You can also find live crawfish for about $4.00 a pound at some of your favorite spots in Shreveport and Bossier City.
The good news about this time of year is that the size of the crawfish is better. You also need to know some of these places run out of crawfish over the week so it's best to call ahead and check for prices and the supply.
And if you are planning a crawfish boil, remember you will have to buy at least 30 pounds at most places.
