Will the First Ever Royal Thanksgiving Happen This Year?
I'll be honest I'm not one to ever really care that much about royalty in other countries, but I'm very interested in the possibility of the royal family celebrating Thanksgiving. While, of course, England does not celebrate Thanksgiving or the 4th of July for obvious reasons, this year that might change. Meghan Markle married Prince Harry earlier this year officially making her British royalty.
Meghan has been very open in the past about Thanksgiving being one of her favorite holidays because of her love for cooking. Last year, Meghan celebrated Thanksgiving in Los Angeles with her mom, but this year it'll probably be in England. While there are many rules for royalty to follow none of them include anything to do with Thanksgiving so she's free to have turkey. So far no announcement has been made. Meghan and Harry do not have any official plans that day. My guess is they will have a secret Thanksgiving.
