After the pandemic stopped WWE from hitting the road, they are back at it. With full scale tours making their way around the United States once again. Which means its time for them to return to one of the most iconic pro wrestling metros in the US.

WWE will be back in the Shreveport-Bossier City area on Saturday, July 9th, at Brooksire Grocery Arena. They're bringing their Saturday Night's Main Event live show to town for a huge night of action.

Initially, the show had some major names announced, including former World Champion Randy Orton, returning star Cody Rhodes, and a couple others who won't be able to perform due to injuries. Which means the words "card subject to change" will be invoked.

With a lot of the star power from the initial announcement falling off, would it be possible for WWE to beef up the lineup? It's possible.

Just tonight on Smackdown, Brock Lesnar made his surprise return. Now, its unlikely that Brock would make an appearance in Bossier City. Then again, John Cena is making his return to WWE next week, and he's performed in Bossier often. So that's a strong possibility.

But what about someone like, Ronda Rousey?

She's one of the biggest names in the company, by a pretty good margin. She's actually a bigger mainstream name than the stars that have had to drop out of the show, so it would be overdelivering on the cancelations. Plus, she's already been to Bossier before. You remember, when she butchered Bossier City's name, but was confident she got it right (jump to the 2:30 mark)

Is it possible that Ronda could swoop in and save the show? Sure. Is it likely, no. If Ronda was going to be a part of this show, it's likely she would have been announced already to help with ticket sales. IF they were going to throw a big name onto the show to make up for the loss of Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes, John Cena would make the most sense, and it would make sense that you don't announce it until after he returns next week.

BUT, that's not guaranteed, these are all just guesses.
