Congressman John Fleming remained critical of Democrat Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton Tuesday, despite the announcement by FBI Director James Comey that the former Secretary of State would not face criminal indictment following a lengthy investigation into her mishandling of classified documents.

Said Fleming:

“While not a criminal indictment, the findings presented today by Director Comey were a scathing personal indictment of Secretary Clinton’s ethics, behavior, and capacity to serve as Commander-in-Chief.  The evidence is clear that Secretary Clinton is not qualified to lead or be trusted with the most sensitive material critical to the security of our nation.”

Clinton faces further investigation as a result of the FBI probe, including possible perjury charges stemming from her testimony to a Senate committee.
