You just have to hear Cody Jinks one time to understand why Rolling Stone Magazine would say of his music, "Rule changing Country music."

His "Saving Country Music Album of the Year" award proved to the world that his brand of real country, empowered by credibility, has made it to the masses. And his last visit to the area proved that he was loved here in Shreveport/Bossier and that his return was a MUST.

With the memory of last year's sell-out crowd still fresh in his memory, Cody has announced that he'll return, and this time he'll play in the comforts of air conditioning and with the incredible sound at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium.

The concert, just announced this week, will be Friday, July 13, 8:00 pm, at the Municipal Auditorium. And don't let the "Friday the 13th" part scare you. Cody will certainly have a little something special planned for this auspicious date.

This hugely successful tour didn't just happen overnight. According to Jinks, he's spent the better part of the last 10 years playing numerous empty bar rooms to a never-ending financial loss. “Yeah, I’ve been pretty good at losing money. Not the greatest feeling in the world to be gone from home for long stretches of time, only to walk in the door broke. But I never gave up. Never even had that thought”

Thank goodness he didn't! Tickets for this will go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 15 at 10:00 am at Ticketmaster.com
