Burn Ban Lifted in Jacksonville, Texas Ahead of Mudstock 2013
If you're planning on attending this year's Can-Am ATV Mudstock in Jacksonville, Texas and wondering if you can bring along some firewood, we have an answer. The lifting of an area burn ban means Mudstock goers are allowed to bring wood for campfires.
According to a Texas A&M Forest Service burn ban map (released Sept. 27), East Texas' Cherokee County, where Jacksonville's River Run ATV Park is located and Mudstock will take place, is no longer under a burn ban.
Unless we hear otherwise between now and the day Mudstock opens its gates (Oct. 2), this means folks making the trip out to have fun, get muddy and go ATV-riding can pack up some firewood for nightly campfires.
