We are chomping at the bit to get a good look at Can-Am/BRP's new Maverick 1000R X MR, which the company is showing off for the first time to the public at this year's Mudstock in Jacksonville, Texas.

The new Maverick vehicle has previously only been shown to dealers, but Mudstock attendees will be able to gawk at the new Maverick X MR up close and personal on Friday, Oct. 4 from 9 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. on the highline.

Can-Am Maverick 1000R X mr is a 101-horsepower Rotax and contains a mud-specific X package. This baby is based on the two-seat Maverick platform and made to take on a muddy trail or closed-course bog while containing a industry-exclusive and mud-specific X package.


Highlights

  • Tri-Mode Dynamic Power Steering, Visco-Lok QE and an updated gauge package, an Air Control Suspension with FOX Air Assist HPG Piggyback shocks and Gorilla Axle Silverback tires.
  • The ACS system adjusts the front and rear high-pressure gas FOX Air Assist HPG Piggyback shocks using the onboard compressor for a total adjustment range of 4 inches so it can be adjusted on the fly
  • The 30-inch Gorilla Axle Silverback tires are mounted on 14-inch cast aluminum wheels and used because of their exceptional mud-riding characteristics for performance in and out of the mud
  • Critical components moved higher so it operates with the proper air volume
