Bus Flips Over With Students On Board

This morning, just before 8 am, a bus carrying Summerfield students was involved in an accident that left the bus turned on its side in a ditch. Minor injuries were reported in a Shreveport Times article that also states there were no other vehicles involved in the crash.

According to the story, the bus turned over as the result of the bus driver approaching a curve too fast. The accident is being investigated and the driver has been cited for careless and reckless operation.
