Bristol’s Babies: Meet Tootsie

Each week, Bristol's Babies shines the spotlight on adoptable pets right here in northwest Louisiana and with your help, we hope to eventually find them all homes!

Tootsie is an absolutely adorable pup and she's already up to date on all of her shots. This poor girl had mange, but the kind people at Pet Savers are getting her all healed up. If you look at her before and after pictures, you'll see how much better she looks already! However, Tootsie is ready for another chance... a new family! I'm a three to four month old Great Pyrenees/Pit mix. I was surrendered because I had Demodectic mange which is caused by Demodex, a parasitic mite that lives in the hair follicles of dogs. Go to Pet Savers Facebook page and you will see my intake photos. When you look at those photos compared to the photo on the right you will see how much I've improved. It's still hard to believe what bad shape I was in when I arrived at Pet Savers. Lucky for me they took me to the vet and got me started on a treatment program. I look and feel so much better now. Now that I'm feeling better I'm ready to find a forever home. Stop by Pet Savers and I'll tell you more about myself. One more thing, I'd like to thank everyone who donated money to help pay for my treatment. Thanks to you I've got a new lease on life.
