Brett Young and his wife Taylor are officially the proud parents of their first child! The couple's baby girl arrived on Monday (Oct. 21), People reports.

Presley Elizabeth Young was born at 7:29PM in Nashville, Tenn. She weight 8 pounds, 2 ounces, and measured 20.75 inches long at the time of her birth.

“We have wanted this for so long and never could we have dreamed of something so beautiful and life-changing,” Young and Taylor say. “She is perfect, and we are forever better because she was given to us.”

The "In Case You Didn't Know" singer married the former Taylor Mills on Nov. 3, 2018, with plans for future parenthood. “We have always shared the same heart for wanting a family,” Young tells People. “I love knowing that we get to give this little one an amazing life, and I just can’t wait for the future ahead of us as a family. We are so blessed!”

The couple found out about Taylor's pregnancy on Super Bowl weekend, just three months after their nuptials. “I was in shock when it read positive. I really just didn’t believe what I was seeing,” she admits to People.

“After it sunk in, I was so happy and so overwhelmed that I just started crying — happy tears of course!" she adds. "Brett and I hugged, kissed and talked for hours about how long we had been wanting this and how excited we are to become parents.”

Young, a former college baseball player and MLB hopeful, learned he'd be having a daughter through a recent trend: a baseball that explodes into blue or pink powder upon contact.
