Brent Burns Performs Live at Sun of a Beach Festival [Video]

Brent Burns made it clear to the Sun of a Beach festival crowd that he's a trop rocker with a mission.

"I'm the official musical ambassador for the gulf coast of Alabama, and I personally invite you all down on vacation," said Burns. The Alabama native then launched into a funny ditty called "I Came Here on Vacation, I'm Going Home on Probation."

Burns said the song was actually inspired by one of his many trips to Key West, Florida. (Note to self: Invite him along the next time we take a vacation there.)

"Be careful in Gulf Shores, Alabama folks -- we want you to come back, but never on a mandatory basis," Burns joked.
