UPDATE: Bossier Boy’s Father Is Charged

UPDATE: After investigation, Triston Whorton was arrested for Child Desertion in this case. His 2 year old son was wandering around unsupervised while the arrestee was playing video games. Officers finally located the suspect about 3 hours after finding the child.

UPDATE: Family members have been found and the little boy is back with them.

The BCPD Patrol Division responded to a call of a child wandering around this morning at Pecan Valley Mobile Home Park on Barksdale Blvd. The little boy was found just before 10am Saturday morning.

The child is a male approximately 3 years old. Thus far, officials have been unable to locate a parent or guardian. If you recognize him please contact LT. Bart Cavanaugh at 318-741-8977.
