NEWS RELEASE - The CenturyLink Center will once against play host to a sold out concert tonight when The Eagles take the stage. That’s means a heavy amount of vehicle traffic is expected in the area of the arena before and after show time. So the Bossier City Police Department is advising motorists to plan accordingly to help minimize traffic congestion.

Concertgoers should make plans to arrive early. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the concert scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. Motorists not attending the show should consider utilizing Barksdale Boulevard and avoid traveling on the Arthur Ray Teague Parkway in the vicinity of the CenturyLink Center during the early evening hours as concertgoers arrive. They should also consider avoiding motor vehicle travel in the vicinity of the CenturyLink Center when the concert crowd lets out at around 11 p.m. due to the large number of vehicles that will be exiting.

Bossier City police officers will be on hand in and around the CenturyLink Center this evening to assist with traffic control and security.
