The Seventh Tap East Bank: Why You Need to Try Their Underrated Wings

There is one thing I am forever on the hunt for in the Shreveport-Bossier area: a truly phenomenal, lip-smacking chicken wing. I love bouncing around to different local spots to test out their wing game, but I’ll admit there’s one place I overlooked on the wing front for way too long.

Well, I didn’t ignore the venue itself, I was just going to The Seventh Tap East Bank strictly for their viral smashburger.

That smashburger is an absolute crowd-pleaser and single-handedly put their kitchen on the map. While Seventh Tap’s main focus will always be brewing incredible local craft beer, their East Bank taproom is quietly whipping up some of the best bar food in the entire Ark-La-Tex.

I caught up with co-owner Jose Cardenas, who admitted that after the smashburger blew up on social media, it completely stole the spotlight from the rest of the menu, especially the wings. But let me tell you, these wings have officially entered the chat.

The kitchen perfected three standout house sauces that have become fan favorites: Garlic Parmesan, Red Hot Chili, and Mexican Hot Honey. Naturally, I had to sample all three. The crunch on these wings is next-level, the sauces are packed with flavor, and the meat is juicy and cooked to absolute perfection. Cardenas mentioned that while the burger stole the show early on, word-of-mouth is finally catching up and these wings are getting the recognition they deserve.

Don't make the same mistake I did by ordering on autopilot. Next time you head over for a cold pint, order a basket of wings alongside that burger.

Where is your go-to wing spot in town, and have you tried these yet? Head over to 525 Barksdale Blvd in Bossier City and see for yourself why they’re easily some of the best wings in town.
