I wasn't aware the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy was considered appropriate Young Adult reading. I know grown women who wouldn't be caught in public with the books. I'm pretty sure it's considered erotica.

According to local listener Mimi Paxton, the Bossier Parish Library said the young adult section is intended for readers in the 12-18-year-old range.

In fact, their Teen Advisory Board recommends books for their Young Adults section. The TAB is open to those 13-19 years of age. Among the books recommended? The Harry Potter and Hunger Games books.
