Bossier City Farmers Market is Back!

This weekend welcomed back a staple in the lives of Bossier City residents that want to eat healthy and local!  This is the 3rd year for the growing event that gives you the opportunity to bring home the home grown goodness raised right here in Ark-La-Tex.

If you are a proponent of the farm to table movement, then you will definitely want to bring your reusable shopping bags and your spirit of adventure to to Pierre Bossier Mall the next time it rolls around (every Saturday until November).  I like the social aspect of the whole ordeal.  Not only are you getting higher quality produce and goods and putting dollars into the the hands of local farmers - you are hanging with the crowd that feels the same.  Finding good people that value the same things as you is an awesome bonus.

Over 70 vendors regularly attend this event, and that number grows all the time.  The locally produced items you can purchase range from fresh fruits and vegetables to hand-made craft items, plus all natural hand soaps and candles even locally produced beard oils and accouterments.
