Today We Get Clue #3 in Poke Salad Festival Treasure Hunt

The excitement is really starting to build for this week’s Poke Salad Festival in Blanchard.

The actual Poke Salad Carnival will begin tomorrow at 4:00 pm at the Festival Grounds and according to the Poke Salad Festival Facebook page, there's been a huge addition to this year's line-up as the festival will once again feature carnival rides.

Once Again The Poke Salad Festival Will Have Carnival Rides

Rides will be open from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm Thursday and Friday and from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm on Saturday.

Of course, that's a huge bonus for kids this year, but for the big kid in all of us, we’re now into the third day of the annual treasure hunt.

That $1,000 Treasure Is Still Waiting To Be Found

Treasure hunters from all over the world travel to Caddo Fire District 1 in the Blanchard area for the annual Poke Salad Festival Treasure Hunt.

Well, maybe that's a little bit of a stretch, but with $1,000 on the line, you can bet there are lots of eyes looking around for what could be an extra payday.

Clue #3, Wednesday, May 11: There’s not a time good or bad. If you don’t look you’ll be sad

Clue #1, Monday, May 9:  No need to dig, climb, dismantle, enter private property, or park dangerously in Fire District One, there you may find the treasure card and be done. Acquire a business card from Doug's Paint and Body, follow instructions, and claim your $1,000 at the Poke Salad Festival Pavilion, Saturday May 14th, 12:30 P.M
