During their recent trip down the red carpet at the Grammy Awards Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert talked briefly about wedding details.

When questioned about Blake's wedding attire Miranda stated that she just wants Blake to be himself telling reporter Alanna Conaway of The Boot "This is our wedding, not mine". No bridezilla here, as Miranda really only cares about three things for her big day: "the man, the bar, and the entertainment."

So lets break down the three things:

The man: Blake is known for his sense of humor and lack of filter, and if you are like me you will watch him just to see what happens next.  Obviously these were endearing qualities to Ms. Lambert as well. And there are no predictions of cold feet for this Oklahoma native, he recently described his ever growing love for Miranda to reporter Gayle Richardson of The Boot:

"Being able to look at Miranda, and know everything about her -- know the good times, the bad times, every habit she has and everything she does, and I don't have a problem with one thing about her," says Blake. "I can find something in everything she does that says that she's awesome. I'm constantly in awe of the things that she does and she says and the way she looks. It doesn't get old to me. I don't get tired of it. I know that's a lame way to talk about love, but when you talk about being in love with somebody, as I've gotten older, once you get past those early days when you cry when they go to the grocery store [laughs] and you don't want to sleep so you can stare at them. Once you get past that and you still feel the way I'm talking about, to me, that's when it gets good."

The bar: When celebrating immediately after Blake popped the question the two drank Rum and Diet Sprite out of Solo cups, but for the formal engagement party guests celebrated in style.  Surely the wedding guests will be served a nice selection from the Red 55 Winery. There are a few choices from Miranda's wine collection that should pair well with Venison (one Miranda's choices of meat for the wedding)

The entertainment: Neal McCoy is on the books as part of the wedding entertainment. Neal is a reported long time friend of Blake's and is refusing compensation for the gig. There are other "surprise" entertainers, chosen by Blake. I wonder if the Dan Band will be on Blake's list (famous for their film cameo appearances in "Old School" and "The Hangover" as the wedding band with slightly inappropriate but humorous renditions of traditional wedding songs in movies ). Maybe Louisiana native and Blake's recent musical partner Trace Adkins? Or maybe some Texas Country Music to tie into the bride's roots? Based on the photos from the engagement party the wedding will be unique, Southern and fabulous!
