Gary McCoy is a longtime radio personality and proud member of Kiss Country radio in Shreveport, where he brings humor, country music, and community spirit to the airwaves. A Shreveport native, Gary was born at the old Doctor’s Hospital (delivered by none other than Dr. Flake—clearly a sign he was destined for radio). He grew up in Trinity Heights and made the bold career move of choosing deer hunting over finals, leading him straight into the world of broadcasting. Now calling Haughton home, he shares life’s adventures with his wife, Julie, and their sons Buddy, Craig, and Colt. When he’s not on the air, you’ll find Gary hunting, fishing, and daydreaming about winning the Powerball—if he ever remembers to buy a ticket.
