Another Shreveporter to Appear on American Idol

Cameron Theodos. Evangel Christian Academy graduate and your next American Idol?

We're now just ten days away from American Idol making it's monstrous return to your televisions. The hype is real, as it seems everyone is going to turn it on on March 11th just to see what all the fuss is about.

Shreveport-Bossier has been a hotbed for success on singing shows like Idol. We've seen Dez Duron on The Voice, Cole Vosbury on The Voice, Willie Jones on the X Factor, and more, and now will see even more local talent on the Idol revival.

Benton High School senior, Garrett Jacobs, will be searching for his golden ticket to Hollywood in the next few weeks. As will Shreveporter Cameron Theodos. Cameron announce via Facebook that he'll be appearing on the show, although he didn't give us any spoilers.

I think I speak for every one when I say a Jacobs vs. Theodos Idol finale would be pretty amazing.
