Another Classic Shreveport Restaurant Goes Out Of Business

The Village Grille has been a Shreveport staple for about 3 decades...until this week.

Reports are surfacing that the long time favorite of many locals, will be closing it's doors permanently. This is bad news for the many noteworthy patrons.

I've heard classic stories of local celebrities, like Bill Joyce, as well as Hollywood stars passing through while filming in the Shreveport-Bossier area. The food received tremendous reviews across various rating websites like Trip Advisor (4.5 out of 5) and Yelp (4 out of 5).

This is yet another restaurant closing, in what could be described as an epidemic across the Shreveport-Bossier area. Just a few weeks ago, Cheddar's in Shreveport closed. Just a few weeks before that, there was another Youree-area stop that closed, in addition to one a couple months ago in Bossier.
