In this incredibly inspiring video the song asks the question, "Where were you on that September day?"  And most of us require absolutely no thought in answering the question.   I was in the radio station watching the coverage on television and reporting the horrific events on air.  I remember so vividly the fear I felt as President Bush addressed the nation from Barksdale Air Force Base.  I called my wife in Haughton and told her to go get my kids from school and get as far away from Barksdale as possible, fearing that anywhere the President might be, would be the next place of attack.

I also remember thinking that something good would come of this.  And it did!

Unparalleled patriotism swept our country.  Red, white and blue became the colors of the day.  We were all one people!  No Democrats; no Republicans.  No black; no white.  No rich; no poor.

My hope is that none of us old enough to remember those fleeting days will ever forget, that first, we are brothers and sisters in Christ!  We are Americans!

And may God continue to bless us!

We Will Never Forget!
