If you’re like me and you get hooked on "trash TV," we are about to have a front-row seat to some serious local drama. A Louisiana woman and her Egyptian fiancé are officially joining the cast of the 12th season of 90 Day Fiancé on TLC.

For those who haven't been initiated into this chaos, here is your crash course: an American and their international partner have 90 days to get married on a K-1 visa, or the partner has to go home. It’s high-stakes, high-emotion, and, let’s be real, high-comedy.

This season, we’re following Debby Rolando, a 55-year-old New Orleans real estate agent and mother. She’s engaged to Mido, a 41-year-old Egyptian actor with big dreams of making it in Hollywood.

Now, we already know that life in Louisiana is a culture shock to many, but imagine coming from Egypt straight into the heart of Cajun country. As we say in the South: bless his heart.

However, it looks like things aren't starting off on the right foot. According to TLC, Debby is already questioning if Mido is truly ready for marriage or if he’s just "chasing stardom." With her friends and daughter openly doubting his intentions, this road to the altar is looking like a total cliffhanger.

Will the "Big Easy" charm be enough to keep this couple together, or will Mido be packing his bags before the 90 days are up? We’ll find out when the new season premieres at 7 p.m. Sunday, May 10. Get your snacks ready, Shreveport, this is going to be a wild ride.
