This year I have been a little unlucky. I broke my leg a week before Halloween. I had to have surgery and have been in a cast for all of November and December. This has caused me to have issues when shopping for some of my family members. I cant go into some stores because it is difficult for me to get around. However, I can get into grocery stores thanks to the little go cart thingies. So I have decided that this year everyone is getting little Christmas treats! Check out the recipes below so that you can give some easy Christmas treats to your friends and family.

Christmas Muddy Buddies

Ingredients:
-1 Box Chex Mix Ceral
-1 1/2 cups of Semi Sweet Chocolate
-3/4 cups of Peanut Butter
-6 tablespoons of Butter
-1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
-2 cups of Powdered Sugar
-1 cup of Holiday M&Ms

According to the recipe that you can find here, start by microwaving the Peanut Butter, Chocolate Chips, and butter for 1 minute. Stir then microwave for 15-30 second increments until completely smooth. Stir vanilla into the gooey chocolate-peanut butter mixture. Then pour that yummy melty sauce over the ceral inside of a large bowl. Mix that mess up until the ceral is coated evenly. This is the point where you toss that powdered sugar in and stir it all up. Poor the mixture onto a cooking sheet and let that get all nice and cool. This is where you Emerald style toss those M&Ms. BAM! Bag it up and give it away.

Chocolate Christmas Trees

Ingredients:
-12 ounce bag of Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
-Bag of Pretzel Sticks or Bag of Pretzel Rods (this determines the size of your trees)
-Sprinkles or M&Ms

You are going to melt the chocolates and put the chocolate ooze into a zip lock bag or a squeeze bottle. If you choose the zip lock bag you will need scissors to snip the tip off of one of the corners of the bag. Then you will lay down the pretzel on a cookie sheet that has wax paper on it. Then you will zig zag the chocolate goodness over the pretzels to create the image of a tree. Then sprinkle on decorations for pizzazz. The recipe that I have followed says that if you use the smaller pretzels it is best to arrange them in an arrow to make the tree strudy. Check it out here. Your pretzel tree will look something like this. (the cupcake comes later)

Super Easy Turtle

Ingredients:
-Pecans
-Twist or square pretzels
-Rolo candies

This is super easy and super yummy! According to the recipe, that you can find here, you start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees. You are going to line a cooking tray with parchment paper. Arrange your pretzels on the tray and place a rolo on top of each pretzel. You are going to bake these delicious devils for about 3-5 minutes or just until the rolos become soft (not melted). Take them out of the oven and press a pecan into the chocolate. Let cool then serve!
