Each year, the Academy of Country Music celebrates recipients of special and off-camera awards not broadcast as part of the annual ACM Awards show with the ACM Honors ceremony in Nashville. The event was not originally televised, but in recent years, the show has been taped to air at a later date so that fans can join in on all the festivities.

In August of 2019, the ACM Honors will return once again to the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn., for a 10th consecutive year at the historic venue. The ceremony will spotlight recipients of the Academy of Country Music's Special Awards, Songwriter of the Year award, Studio Recording Awards and Industry Awards. How Can I Watch the 2019 ACM Honors?

The year 2016 was the first in which the ACM Honors ceremony was broadcast on CBS; the airing took place a few days after the event. However, no official announcement has yet been made about where or when, or if, the ceremony will be televised in 2019.

Who's Hosting the 2019 ACM Honors?

A host for the 2019 ACM Honors ceremony has not been announced. In 2018, Jon Pardi and Lauren Alaina co-hosted the ceremony; Lady Antebellum hosted in 2016, and in 2017, the ACM Honors had no official host.

Who's Being Honored at the 2019 ACM Honors?

Miranda Lambert, Brooks & Dunn, Kacey Musgraves, Martina McBride, Rodney Crowell, Billy Joe Shaver, Kye Fleming, Shane McAnally and Gayle Holcomb will all be honored during the ceremony. Additionally, the film A Star is Born will receive the Tex Ritter Film Award.

The 2019 ACM Cliffie Stone Icon Award, which celebrates those "who throughout their career [have] advanced the popularity of the genre through their contributions in multiple facets of the industry," will go to two artists: McBride and Brooks & Dunn.

Meanwhile, Lambert will receive the Gene Weed Milestone Award, which is presented to an artist for "a specific, unprecedented or outstanding achievement in the field of country music during the preceding calendar year." The recognition follows Lambert's landmark win at the 2018 ACM Awards, when she became the most-awarded artist in the Academy's history.

Musgraves is set to receive the ACM Jim Reeves International Award for her contributions to furthering the country genre within the music community more broadly. This year's ACM Gary Haber Lifting Lives Award will go to WME partner and industry professional Gayle Holcomb, in recognition of her advocacy for the Academy's charitable arm, ACM Lifting Lives. The award celebrates those who have worked tirelessly to improve the lives of others by harnessing the power of music.

The ACM Poet's Award will go to three recipients -- Rodney CrowellBilly Joe Shaver and Kye Fleming -- for their lyrical contributions to and longstanding poetic prowess within the genre. Also during the ceremony, Shane McAnally will officially receive his trophy as the ACM Songwriter of the Year. McAnally was previously announced as the ACM's winner in the category for 2019. It will be his second time receiving the award.

A number of industry awards (Festival of the Year, Promoter of the Year, etc.) and studio recording-focused honors (Producer of the Year, Guitar Player of the Year, etc.) will also be handed out during the 2019 ACM Honors.
