Shreveport's college football bowl game is just around the corner and is expected to be a great game.

This year's rendition of the Advocare V-100 Bowl will feature the ACC's Boston College and the Pac-12's Arizona, two teams with the nation's best college running backs.

"We're the only other bowl game besides the BCS Championship game to have two top 10 Heisman finalists in our game," said Advocare V-100 Bowl spokesman Stefan Nolet, "So, that's pretty big for us."

And there is a big local name kicking off the game.

"We'll have Cole Vosbury, who was a finalist on NBC's The Voice," Nolet said. "He'll be singing our national anthem."

For those planning to attend the game, but don't want to deal with the hassle of the congestion around Independence Stadium, the bowl game has an alternative for you.

"A great option we have is a shuttle.  It runs from Pierre Bossier Mall and Mall St. Vincent," explained Nolet.  "It's $5 to ride, free for kids 12 and under."

Tickets are still available for the bowl game on the Advocare V-100 Bowl website.
