You Could Be Kiss Country’s ‘Hometown Riser’

You or your band feel like all you need is one big break to be Nashville's next Country Superstar?  Well, this could be just what you've needed to open all the right doors for your recording career!

It's an opportunity for you or your band to be Kiss Country's Hometown Riser and possibly go on to be featured on the the nationally syndicated radio show, Taste of Country Nights with Sam Alex, and featured as the centerpiece of a feature article on TasteofCountry.com.

In case you're just hearing about all of this, just as they did this year, once again, Taste of Country will help to usher in the next wave of country music superstars with their massive Risers campaign in early 2018.

A handful of country’s most promising up and comers will be selected by a panel of industry insiders and country music experts along with one act voted in by the fans through our Hot Seat campaign.

And you've got the chance to be the one sitting in the Hot Seat!  Just send us a video of you or your band performing your original COUNTRY music.  Then, on December 4, we'll post all of our entries to YouTube.

The video that receives the most votes by midnight, December 15, will be declared our Kiss Country Hometown Riser and go on to the final round hosted on TasteofCountry.com where fans will vote for their favorite band or artist.

You'll also want to send us approved press photos of the band that we'll have the permission to use, just in case you win!

1. Download this document stating that the music (lyrics and music) you are submitting are original and you are the full owner of the music.
2. Sign the document (It is 2 pages).
3. Send an email to Gary.McCoy@townsquaremedia.  Your email MUST include the following. Emails that do not have the following required information will not be included in the Kiss Country Risers competition.

Your Name (First and Last)
Band or Group Name (only required for bands and groups)
Your Phone Number (Area Code Included)
Attach a video of your band performing an original COUNTRY song (original music and lyrics required).  The video cannot be over five minutes in length.
Attach the completed and signed document mentioned in step number two.
