Dog owners can take their pets out to eat with them for Yappy Hour at Texadelphia in Shreveport Friday. Your $10 donation goes to Robinson’s Rescue Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic. The restaurant, at 1409 E. 70th St., is donating 10 percent of the evening’s profits between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. to Robinson’s Rescue.
Texadelphia has reserved a patio and parking lot for pets and their owners. Plastic swimming pools and water bowls will be provided so dogs can cool off. Yappy Hour is also the time to donate pet food for the Pet Pantry, a new project in partnership with the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana.

Robinson’s performs spay and neuter services for dogs and cats at a reduced price for pet owners or free of charge through a subsidized program. The clinic seeks to reduce the unwanted pet population and the killing of unwanted animals at area shelters.
