While some moms are on board, others may find it more difficult.

Let me preface this with telling you that I do not have kids. I definitely want to be a mother in the future though. And while I know that it's not the right time for me, I've given parenting a lot of thought over the last few years. I believe that I will be the kind of mom who takes a "mom-cation."

Good Morning America recently looked at this idea of moms taking some time off for themselves.

The idea is to put the focus on yourself for just a little bit. This can be done solo or with a group of friends. While some moms would jump at the opportunity to reset and refresh, others found it difficult to even consider leaving their kids.

I've seen both types of parents be successful in parenting. I think that I will still value time just with my girlfriends, as I do now being married. Don't mistake that for me thinking that leaving my kids will be a breeze. It will be hard to think I'm missing out on some magical moments with my kids.

How do you feel about this? Would you want to take some time for yourself? Or would you rather soak up the time you have with your kids before it's gone?
