Woman Rescued from Sinking Car in LA, But Something is Fishy About the Car [VIDEO]

Such an incredible rescue, but maybe this woman was doing something wrong at the time.

It seems like every 30 seconds, we see a video or something online about the incredible and inspiring story out of the flooding in south Louisiana. This one is no different. It's a video of a woman being saved from a red convertible that is quickly sinking under the flood waters. These guys, most likely the Cajun Navy, were able to get her out of the car and even save her dog in the process.

It's a miracle. This woman easily could have lost her life that day. The car was completely lost...

Or was it?

As the waters begin to recede now, the car became visible again and was spotted by a passerby.

That passerby's roommate, who goes by the name Ethan is Cool online decided to salvage the car and restore it so he could return it to its owner. There's just one problem...

The owner is not the woman in the video.

He posted the photos on Facebook to locate the owner. That's when he found the true owners of the car who also told him that this woman not only stole the car, but she also was driving drunk.

Ethan is determined to restore the vehicle for the owners after they lost everything else they owned in the flood. #LouisianaStrong
