Woman Attacks and Cuts Baby Out of Pregnant Stranger

This story is horrible, truly the stuff that scary movies are made out of. A Wisconsin woman, Annette Morales-Rodriguez, admits to stealing a pregnant woman's unborn child by attacking the stranger, Maritza Ramirez-Cruz, and cutting the full term baby from her womb. Both the mother and baby perished in the attack.

This reminds me of an episode from ABC's Private Practice when Dr. Violet Turner was attacked by one of her patients, who in similar fashion cut her child out of her in a violent attack---but, unlike this horrendous reality out of Wisconsin, Dr. Turner and her baby survived.

Morales-Rodriguez admits that she had seen a Cesarean section birth on the Discovery Channel and was trying to replicate that birth as she was cutting the baby out with a knife.
