I won’t lie, the LSU Baseball team was stressing me out last night in the SEC Tournament at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium in Hoover, AL. I thought we had the game against South Carolina won when we were up by one going into the bottom of the 9th inning 3-2… then we let the Gamecocks score and tie the game up. UGGH!!!

After 12 innings the Tigers were victorious with a final score of 6-4 and Todd Peterson was easily the stand out star of the night. The sophomore relief pitcher came in to close out the last five innings and ended up having his first at bat as a Tiger… and hit a double!

LSU plays again today in an elimination match-up… They’ll take on the loser of the Arkansas/Florida game who play this morning at 10am. They game is scheduled for 6:30pm tonight, but it seems like none of the games this week in the tournament have started on time.
