You and the kids will want to make plans for September 28 to take in the 33rd annual Wildlife & Forestry Festival celebrating National Hunting & Fishing Day at the Tom Merrill Recreation Area on Bayou Bodcau Dam & Reservoir, also known as the Bodcau Wildlife Management Area. 

Located just 2.5 miles from Bellevue, LA., the event is free and open to the public and will run from 10:00am-3:00pm.

There will be activities for the entire family including music, canoeing, shooting events, archery, paint ball, arts & crafts, fur trapping, beekeeping, 3-D Archery Tournament, wild game tasting and many other activities.
