If you have triskaidekaphobia you have been warned. We are talking Friday the 13th. As a fan of all things creepy, Friday the 13th is like a mini holiday. I will wear my black cat earrings and have a blast.

But there is also a claim that the first bad Friday the 13th on the record books was when King PHilip IV of France arrested hundreds of the Knights Templar back in 1307. This is where "Friday the 13th" started, according to the History Channel.

There are also some bad days in history that land on Friday the 13th:

  • Germany bombed the Buckingham Palace in September 1940
  • The notorious murder of Kitty Genovese in Queens, New York in March 1964
  • The also notorious murder of Tupar Shakur in September 1996

When you are going about your day tomorrow be sure to take a few things to keep good luck with you maybe a four leaf clover or a horseshoe with the open side facing up towards the sky.
