Who Has the Best Cheeseburger in Kiss Country?

Today is national cheeseburger day and as you know, Gary and I can't help but talk about food! Ever since this first came up this morning on the show, I've been craving a big juicy burger with all the fixins!

Gary and I don't agree on much, but we do agree that burgers should have mayo without any ketchup or mustard. After that, it's pretty much every man for himself!

We put the question to you. Who has the best cheeseburger in Kiss Country? We got a ton of different answers, but the one that kept coming up repeatedly was Drift Inn Landing in Mooringsport, LA! That's why they're first on our list of the best burgers around!

A few that didn't get mentions that I think deserve to be on the list are Hamburger Happiness in Dixie Inn, Papa and Company on E. Washington in Shreveport, Griff's, Whataburger (I LOVE their patty melt!) and the good ole mushroom swiss burger at Dairy Queen!

Gary's got a bunch of bowlers in his family and he swears by the cheeseburgers at Striker's Cafe inside Holiday Lanes. Of course, you can't forget the man loves to shoot things with antlers. He's also a big fan of the Elk burger at Twisted Root.

Can we all just agree this is a cheat day on our diet? Please? Just to make me feel better? SMH

Drift Inn Landing
Nearly everyone who recommended the Drift Inn swore by their cheeseburgers! It's in Moorningsport on Caddo Lake. I think it's time to talk a friend into taking their boat out... hint, hint Gary!

Windrush Grill
The woman who called in about Windrush said not only are their cheeseburgers to die for, they're also a great value because you can get them two for one right their on the Southern Loop in southern Shreveport!

Reynold's Grocery
This has got to be one of Haughton/Bellevue's best kept secrets. Reynold's is on HWY 157 near the Bellevue Meat Processing Plant. You may have known it before by 'Tooties.'

Fully Stacked
If you haven't been to Fully Stacked in the Red River District under the Texas Street bridge in downtown Shreveport, you're missing out! I've taken some artists there from out of town and they loved the food and the atmosphere!

McCoy's Butcher Block
These guys are in Stonewall on HWY 171 and they've got 4.9 stars out of 5 on Facebook. Considering how brutal people can be online, I'm think I'd take my preacher to McCoy's. No relation... at least as far as I know!

Not only does the Port Grill cook up a mean cheeseburger, they also specialize in southern food. If you're looking for dinner, set your GPS for E. Flournoy Lucas Road off of Youree Drive in Shreveport!

Not only can you get a badass cheeseburger at Fumblebrewski's, you can get a poboy, wings and other traditional bar and grill fair while you watch the game on N. Market Street in Shreveport.
