I was at the Texas Rangers baseball game last week and a thought occurred to me. Oh, by the way, they spanked the Los Angeles Angels 15-9. Now, back to my thought. Each baseball player has his own "Walk Out" song. The song that's played each time that player comes up to bat. And they aren't limited to any particular genre of music. Could be country or christian or rock or -- heaven forbid -- rap.

And with each player making an average four trips to the plate each game, you'd think the song they selected would be something that sort of represented them and their personality. But it really doesn't.   Usually it's just a song they really like and they don't spend too much time in the selection process.

But if I were a major leaguer and got to choose my walk out song, it would be much different. I'd choose Hank Jr. "A Country Boy Can Survive" or Charlie Daniels Band "Long Haired Country Boy." 'Course my wife thinks I would have to use "Some Fools Never Learn" and my kids think I need "Grandpa, Tell Me 'bout The Good Old Days."

That's the spirit. These guys should have fun with this thing. I know I would. If one of them happened to be going through a divorce they could use "She Got The Goldmine and I Got the Shaft" or in a bad rain storm how 'bout AC/DC's "Thunderstruck"?

So,what would be your "Walk Out" Song? Any song from any musical style. Just list it here.
