Holiday Under The Bridge With Nights Of a Thousand Lights: Free and open to the public, the event begins tonight at 6:00 pm in the Red River District under the Texas Street Bridge. The event will actually encompass two weekends of free holiday festivities where visitors will witness a visual and audio artistic creation that celebrates the holidays! (more)

Cirque du Soleil: Varekai: At the CenturyLink Center in Bossier City this weekend. The Friday night show starts at 7:30. Saturday afternoon you can see the show at 2:30. (more)

Christmas In Roseland: The Gardens of the American Rose Center is transformed into a whimsical winter wonderland featuring millions of twinkling lights, dozens of lighted displays, giant Christmas Cards to the Community, nightly entertainment, photos with Santa and rides on the Roseland Express train and tons of fun for the whole family! Caddo Sheriff Offers First Gun Safety Course For Kids: For children ages 8 to 12 the 4-hour class will be offered from 8 a.m. until noon on December 14. The course is recommended for kids who will receive a new BB gun, shotgun, or hunting rifle for Christmas or for those who may already have a gun, but whose parents want them to learn how to use it safely. Old-Fashioned Christmas Parade: Bring your family and friends to the 5th Annual Old-Fashioned Christmas Parade. The parade begins at 4:30 p.m. at Safety Town. Expect to see lots of floats decorated for Christmas as well as marching bands and more. (more)
